Terms & Conditions of Sale

By booking a massage therapy session through this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Jane Kennard, a sole trader operating as a qualified massage therapist in the United Kingdom.

1. Booking and Payment

  • All massage therapy sessions must be booked in advance via the online booking system, email, or phone.

  • Full payment is due at the time of treatment by cash, card, or other accepted methods.

  • Prices are clearly listed on the website and are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the rate originally agreed.

 

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged the full session fee.

 

3. No-Shows

  • A no-show is defined as failure to attend a booked appointment without notice.

  • The client will be charged the full fee for no-shows and may be required to pre-pay for future bookings.

 

4. Right to Refuse Treatment

  • The therapist reserves the right to refuse or stop treatment if:

  • The client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • The client behaves inappropriately or aggressively.

  • The client has misrepresented themselves or their health in any way.

  • There are legitimate safety, ethical, or health concerns or the treatment is beyond the therapist's qualifications.

 

5. Late Arrivals

  • Clients arriving late may receive a shortened treatment if the schedule does not allow for the full session.

  • The full session fee will still apply.

 

6. Health and Medical Disclosure

  • Clients must complete a consultation form and disclose relevant medical information.

  • The therapist is not liable for injury or health issues arising from withheld or inaccurate information.

 

7. Minors

  • Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. - Written consent from a guardian is required before treatment.

 

8. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. - Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

9. Changes to Terms

  • These terms may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be posted on the website.

 

10. Your Consumer Rights

  • Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may contact Citizens Advice or the Consumer Ombudsman.
